Beginner’s Guide to Groundwater Planning

As the deadline for forming GSAs approaches the July 1st deadline, the next step will be implementing the Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs) as required in the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). The Union of Concerned Scientists will explain the science behind key requirements of Groundwater Sustainability Plans, including the development and evaluation of sustainability goals, undesirable results, minimum thresholds and measurable objectives.
